'07 Mitsubishi Galant

The 2007 Mitsubishi Galant makes its presence known yet again in the automobile market with fully revamped exteriors for the 2007 model year. From the front bumper right down to the rear bumper, the update is evident. The net result is a sleeker and more elegant look for this affordable midsize sedan.

The 2007 Mitsubishi Galant introduces a 258hp V6 engine in its Ralliart model as its sportiest version yet. The 230hp V6 is still available and so is the Inline-4 engine generating a modest 160 horsepower. Transmission is automatic for all the models.

So many performance upgrades automatically imply the necessity to upgrade afety and stability features, and the 2007 Galant complies accordingly. Curtain-side airbags are now introduced, and the Ralliart is provided with a traction control mechanism.

Leather upholstery and a sunroof are options that can be considered for some of the models. The ABS is also available in most of the trims.

'06 Mitsubishi Galant

Not too many changes are needed in the 2006 Mitsubishi Galant since its previous model years. This midsize sedan, largely based on the Endeavor from the same makers, continues to be an affordable and yet efficient option for buyers in the automobile market.

The 2006 Galant is available only in front-wheel drive models. The sole transmission mode available is an automatic one with four speed settings. The I-4 engines have a capacity of 2.4 liters, while the V6 models have a V6 engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters. The sportiest version of the Galant is the GTS trim level.

The 2006 Mitsubishi Galant includes most of the features that buyers would seek while purchasing a family sedan. Other than features like keyless entry and power mirrors, the car also has standard safety and stability features like the ABS (or anti-lock braking system) to make the ride as smooth as it is safe.

'05 Mitsubishi Galant

One has to compliment Mitsubishi for its efforts that led to the development of the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant. Ironically, the way this family sedan was developed from a low-profile entity in the market to a top-of-the-line competitor after its redesigning in the year 2004 makes the effort look indeed gallant on the part of its makers.

Other than a less powerful I-4 engine, the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant includes a V6 engine generating horsepower in the 230s to grant this vehicle a rank not just among family cars but also amidst sport vehicles. A four-speed automatic transmission is provided with all the models.

The 2005 Mitsubishi Galant begins to concentrate on the safety of its passengers by making all the airbags standard features in all the available models. The GTS trim level includes an optional rear spoiler to go with the already standard ABS. Power windows and mirrors are also included.
